Guiding Mamas on their journey to wellness

I provide a safe haven to discuss the thoughts you keep hidden.

Being a mother is learning about strengths you didn’t know you had and dealing with fears you never knew existed.”

— Linda Wooten

Are you feeling overwhelmed, unsupported and disconnected from others? Do you often take care of everyone else at the expense of your own needs? Do you worry that you are not a good mom? Do you struggle with thoughts that scare you - thoughts that you try to keep hidden from others? The truth is: this is a transition and a journey that you can navigate successfully with a little guidance. This is where you start, not where you finish.

By sitting still, you may feel even more isolated and disconnected, and you will miss opportunities to connect deeply with your baby. You may allow shame to take hold and prevent you from taking steps toward wellness. Your arriving here tells me that you want the best for your baby, yourself, and your family. If you reach out, you can feel more connected and more supported. By taking care of yourself and investing in wellness, you will ensure you don’t miss the opportunity to enjoy this important time with your baby. With a little help, you can ensure a smooth and enjoyable transition to motherhood. I can help you find your way back to the right path. I know how it feels to lose yourself after giving birth. I know what it’s like to wonder how you will find your way back to who you were or perhaps how to forge a new identity. I know that admitting to the scary thoughts in your head can feel daunting.

With over 15 years experience working with new mothers and with similar lived experience, I provide a safe haven to discuss the thoughts you keep hidden without judgement or shame. I can help you strengthen your bond with your new baby and help you feel connected to those around you. I can help you feel like yourself again. Take the first step toward wellness today and let me help guide you on your journey. Reach out to Shameless Mama Wellness, and let’s start this journey together.

A mother’s love is the fuel that enables a normal human being to do the impossible.”
